Vent inserts are necessary to direct air from the front of the AIRWALL Xpress, Max and X, but also to make connections to the Connex24 and 48 as well as the poly tube. We made them a brightly colored red so that hopefully they won't get left in the crawl space. We also made them our of a nearly indestructible ABS so you shouldn't have to replace them but you might want a few extra just to make sure that you have enough on hand.
