Plugs are used to close off vents on the AIRWALL products. They can be essential for maintaining enough air pressure inside the units or blocking off vents that would otherwise be rendered ineffective by conditions on the jobsite. Just like the vent inserts we made them a brightly colored red too so that they don't get left in the crawlspace. We also made them our of a nearly indestructible ABS so you shouldn't have to replace them but you might want a few extra just to make sure that you have enough on hand.
