Just imagine the possibilities...

1The Attic

The attic is a space well served by the Xpress.  It is useful even if you have to drop the lid in a structure because you still have to dry the bones of the building even with the insulation and drywall gone. In this application you would simply put a piece of 6 mil where the drywall was and then complete the chamber with the Xpress.  You could also use the Xpress in this space for mold remediation and negative air.

2Small Windows

Small windows are where one would use the Xhaust 1 to vent air from the building to create negative air.  The Xhaust 1 is ideal for windows 24"/60cm and smaller.  It has one air intake port, one exhaust port with a critter guard, two inflatable edge seals to guarantee the best seal in most environments and it has zippers that allow it to be attached to other Xhaust units both 1's and 2's.

3Large Windows

Large windows are where one would use the Xhaust 2 to vent air from the building to create negative air.  The Xhaust 2 is ideal for windows 24"/60cm to 48"/120cm.  It has two air intakes just in case it is necessary to move a large volume of air out of the building but one of them can be capped off when that isn't needed. The outside of the Xhaust 2 has two exhaust ports, each with critter guards and one can be capped off for lower air volume requirements.  The Xhaust 2 also has webbing loops that, when paired with a support rod or Zip poles, can assist in supporting the unit when it is uninflated, installed during strong or gusty winds, or is attached to multiple Xhaust units to form a Super Xhaust. To form a Super Xhaust the Xhaust 2 is also equipped with multiple zippers that , in addition to allowing the user to attach multiple units, it further allows the user to reduce the size of the unit for openings smaller than 48"/120cm.

4The Kitchen

The AIRWALL Xpress and the AIRWALL Max are also well suited to creating a chamber or to contain for contaminants and some noise in a kitchen environment.  By using an Xpress or Max as the "4th" wall in a U shaped kitchen, for example, and putting a 2-4 mil lid across the 3 counters and and the top of the AIRWALL using sand bags or tape on the counters and clamps to attach to the AIRWALL, it is possible to create a chamber or dust/noise mitigating barrier.

5Doorways

The AIRWALL X is designed specifically to seal off doorways for residential 80" doors as well as being adaptable to 7'/2m and 8'/2.5m doors as well, by using the accessory called AIRWALL Stax. The X is equipped with webbing loops at the top of the unit that, when used with the included support rod, makes it possible to hang the X in the doorway for ease of use.  It is further equipped with a job packet that attaches to the front of the X.  The job packet is there for MSDS sheets, job status reports, permits, etc.  The X is easily identified by the large X across the front that warns people to not enter.  It currently does this in English and Spanish but if special language requirements are needed them special orders are possible.  The X also has a utility pocket for straps or anything else that the user wishes.  The X has two vent ports on the front and on the back side of the unit.  This allows the user versatility when choosing between passive, active or negative air containment and it is a place to install an AIRWALL Xport.  The Xport is an accessory that allows cords, hoses, tools, etc. to pass through the wall without disturbing or compromising the containment or chamber.  Each X has zippers along the sides that allow the user to adjust the unit for narrower doorways as well as attach multiple AIRWALL X's to each other for double doorways, patio sliders, etc.  The X is also equipped with an extra long intake tube for maximum versatility on the job site.

6Chamber Drying

The AIRWALL Xpress is also extremely well suited to the construction of a heat bubble.  Yet another example of how to use this unit for chamber drying.  It works especially well on large floor drying operations.  By placing 2 Xpress units, on at either end of the affected floor, and facing each other, meaning vents facing in, the user can use a piece of 2-4 mil plastic (weight and waste reduction) secured with sandbags, clamps or some combination of, to put a "roof" between the AIRWALLS.  By placing a compact dehumidifier inside the chamber or directing the output of a larger upright dehu into the chamber and possibly even using sections of poly tube with holes facing the floor between the AIRWALLS, the user now has a time saving and waste reducing option for a heat bubble.  Key note: AIRWALLS don't completely eliminate the use of mil plastic but often times, because tape isn't used and the plastic doesn't need to be cut to size, the plastic can be reused on another job.

7tHe Crawl Space

The AIRWALL Xpress and Max were originally invented for the crawl space environment.  The 12 individual "towers" on the top of the units allow for maximum adaptability where the ceiling is unpredictable because of the structure itself, like floor joists, and the infrastructure of the building, like HVAC, sewer, electrical, water pipes, etc.  The Xpress and Max can be stacked, inverse stacked (common for attic), curved, shorted, connected in an "L" or "U" configuration to form a chamber where only 1 or 2 natural barriers exist, and connected end to end when 12'/3.5m is not enough.  These units can be brick stacked and used for passive, active and negative containment.  The user can attach poly tube extensions to the 5 standard 6"/13cm vent ports, roll them up and then roll the AIRWALL unit itself for easy deployment in especially tight spaces.

8The Airwall Blox

The AIRWALL Blox is an accessory to the Xpress and the Max.  It is designed for three specific applications.  First it is there to fill in the voids caused by excessive infrastructure, like sewer and water, that the Xpress and Max just can't fill.  Second it is there to extend and Xpress or Max when you need 2-3 extra feet of containment, although because the Blox are designed with 2 vent ports, it is possible to daisy chain them together to fill larger gaps as well.  Finally, the Blox is good at filling random areas that may be separate from the main containment area, ie the gap between a fire place and the foundation.  Blox also come equipped with webbing loops to allow the user versatility when setting a chamber or containment. The Blox is compatible with AIRWALLS X, Xpress and Max and because it can adapt to the unique shape of any void within its volume constraints, it can be a very useful tool in a myriad of applications.
